Located in Sydney’s southwest region, Liverpool is a major commercial centre. Liverpool is bordered on the north by Warwick Farm, on the east by the Georges River, on the south by Casula, and on the west by Lurnea and Ashcroft. It is set to grow as major infrastructure and development projects transform it into a transport and business hub. Like many of the suburbs west of Sydney, this is a diverse community where over 140 languages are spoken.
There are over 100 restaurants here, most of which are casual, affordable spots, but there are a range of choices, from Italian to Thai to Sushi to Middle Eastern. A large Westfield mall has the most shopping needs covered. A long stretch of green – four connected parks – shoots through the suburb, providing easy access to walking and running paths, sports fields, basketball courts, and a leisure center.
